Browan MerryIoT Leak Detector

Browan's new MerryIoT range of LoRaWAN sensors includes this handy leak detector. The sensor detects water leaks using electrical conductivity. With probes on the top and bottom, it'll catch puddles forming underneath, or water dripping on top of the device.

The sensor sends an uplink as soon as a leak is detected, and also features a buzzer to warn the user. The sensor will also send a packet once every six hours, if no events have occurred, so you can detect the sensor is still operating. This timing is configurable by downlink.

It's ideal for placing under your dishwasher, washing machine or boiler. It's also great for sheds, garages and outbuildings, or even boats!

Battery usage will vary depending on how often the sensor transmits, but you should expect years of service. The sensor is powered by two 1/2 AA-size Lithium batteries (included).
