HotDrop Electricity Meter (Direct Version)

The HotDrop Direct is a retrofit, self powered amperage meter that provides min/average/max values for a time period as well as cumulative amp hours. The device is powered via inductive charging when the CT is installed on a conductor under load. An inbuilt super capacitor is charged to keep the device running when the conductor load is low or removed. 

The device can be easily and safely clipped onto the live supply cable between an electricity meter and consumer unit in a domestic setting or installed by a qualified electrician inside a panel in an industrial setting. 

We supply the 'Direct' version of the HotDrop which requires users to setup the device on their LNS of choice, handle, store and visualise the data like a standard LoRaWAN device.
