Browan Tabs Sound Level Sensor

Browan's latest Tabs Sound Level Sensor is a compact device to measure sound level in decibels (dBA). The sensor reports A-weighted decibels, designed to match the human ear's response.

Ideal for industrial and smart building applications, this sensor can be used to monitor industrial machines, office and workspace occupancy or anti-social noise pollution.

The sensor is a small 50mm square device, powered by a ½AA size lithium battery (included). It sends a regular hourly sound level reading, but also measures the sound level at five-minute intervals, and transmits only if the level is over a configurable threshold (defaulting to 80dBA). This arrangement optimises battery usage for a lifetime of 16 months.

In addition to sound level, the sensor also sends temperature and battery level readings.

This is the EU868 version for Europe, we also stock the US915 version for North America.
